Baby #71 and 72

Not long after Adam was born, the teenagers came home talking about going to prom. All five of my teens were excited and anxious to go to their prom. Since it was such a big day for so many of my kids, I saved a little money and hired a limousine for the special occasion. They were ecstatic when it pulled up into our driveway the night of prom.

“Everyone is going to be so jealous when they see us coming.” Lauryn stated.

“This is great. Thanks mom!” Lindsay added.

The Road So Far: Part 2

Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed the last update, but we still have quite a few babies to get through and this update will no doubt be longer than the last because of just how much happened in the second half of Christy’s challenge so far.

We start this update with a very special father. Gordan Williams – originally a female sim I downloaded off the exchange and turned male – was chosen for a special post about breast cancer awareness.

Game Update and Baby Challenge Award Nominees

I made this announcement on facebook some time ago, but I recently had to do a complete system restore to fix a problem with my computer. The family is perfectly safe, of course, but all of my sims games were uninstalled. Currently the actual discs (excluding the last two expansion packs) are in storage. So until I can dig them out and reinstall all of them, I won’t be able to play any further. Which is horrible because I had so much planned for the upcoming few updates and I’ll probably forget what I was going to do by the time I can find my games.

With that being said, it doesn’t mean there won’t be any more updates in the mean time. I have the second half of Baby #70 coming out within the week as well as the next update – a very long update in fact which maybe or may not be split into two.

Also one other thing. Christy and some of her children have been nominated for the 100 Baby Challenge Awards for Spring 2013. I want to thank those of you who have nominated me for these awards, and I would like to ask the rest of my readers to please please vote for me. It would mean the world to me if you did.

This blog is nominated for: Favorite Female Challenge Mom, Sexiest Mom, Trouble Making Child (Lauryn), and Most Colorful Child (Hera)

Deadline for voting is May 18th and all you have to do to vote is visit the page and click like on the pictures

Baby #70: Part 1

Lucas POV

This is so stupid. I can’t believe that mom is making me do this. Just because I punched one kid on the playground doesn’t mean that I’m crazy. It was one kid. It wasn’t even like he bled or anything. Just a black eye. He was being stupid anyway.

Since I’m being forced to do this, I might as well explain why. I’m a freak.

A monster.

A vampire.

Voice Your Opinion: Vote for Next Father (Mahoney edition)

I hope you all have been enjoying all of the recent posts. For those of you who are unaware, I have mentioned previously on Christy’s facebook page that my computer has had a lot of overheating issues. It got to the point where I couldn’t play for more than five minutes before my game would shut the entire computer down. I knew it wasn’t just a Sims related issue because I couldn’t play movies or music on my computer for more than a few minutes either. Anyway, I ended up shipping my computer back to the company for them to repair it.

Prior to shipping off my computer, I played out as many updates as possible because I wasn’t sure how long my computer would be gone. This is the reason you have seen a lot of two part posts as well – because I’m trying to stretch out the updates to last as long as possible. Unfortunately I have just about posted all that I have on my computer. I only have about one (possibly one and a half) left to post. So I will be working on finishing those within the next week or so, and hopefully my computer will be back by the time I get that done.

Also I recently closed the last “Vote for the Next Father” Poll. I will be using that father as soon as I get my laptop back, but in the meantime, I am going to go ahead and open up the next poll for my readers to vote on. The next group of guys has been provided to us by Robert Mahoney. Robert has his own baby challenge going and thought it would be a neat idea if my readers voted on which of his sons they thought would make the best children with Christy. All of the following men were specifically requested to be included in the poll except for Trent who was added randomly by me for the sake of their being an even number of candidates.

Here are our candidates

*Keep in mind that these pictures were taken from Me, Myself, and 100 and the potential dads will probably look different in my game.

Baby 66, 67, and 68: Part 2

I was attending a party thrown by one of my children when I felt the first true sign that I was pregnant. The kick was so strong which made me smile. I could already tell this baby was going to be a fighter, and then there was another one. As I walked home that night, I began to feel kicks on multiple sides at the same time which led me to believe I was carrying another set of multiples.

Baby 66, 67, and 68: Part 1

That weekend the family went to Hera and Hades’ graduation. I had really been hoping that Hades would be there, but he wasn’t  Hera graduation with the highest of honors. She was her Class Valedictorian and her classmates even voted her “Most Likely To Become A Sports Star”. Hera was beaming from ear to ear.

Even though Hades wasn’t there, his class still voted him “Most Likely To Take Over The World”
